Matthew Buff
Hi, I’m Matthew Buff PGA Professional of Australia.
I grew up swinging a golf club when I was 2 years old and I’ve never looked back. I completed my PGA Traineeship in 2012. I’ve played in several Australasia Tour Events. I’ve played with Jason Day and Rory McIlroy just to name a few.
When I coach I work with what golfers have. I believe no one is built the same. I work with all golfers whether their a beginner to a Tour Professional. I want golfers to reach their full potential. Simplicity with a mix of dedication, anything is achievable.
I have swing analysis software which will help diagnose swing corrections.
Drills to correct your swing.
Mental preparation and warm up exercises to help you build an all round game.
My rates are as follows:
Private Lessons
30 minutes – $75
1 hour – $130
Beginner Clinics
Minimum 3 people for a clinic Or 6 maximum
$120 for 3 x 1 hour group clinics
9 hole playing on course lesson $249
(allow around 150 minutes)
Ladies and Junior Clinics will be done thru MyGolf.
Stuart Irving
I am a fully certified member of the PGA, having graduated in 2023. I am an experienced golfing coach. My coaching philosophy is based on the premise that if you have sound fundamentals, then you will have a sound golf game. I have coached players of all levels of ability and interest, including PGA Professionals, Juniors, Seniors and Ladies. Let me take your game to the next level. I offer individual and group lessons. I provide on course playing lessons. My 6-lesson packages provide a value-for-money way to improve your game. I also offer club fitting and repair services. Feel free to talk to me about your golf coaching needs.

Gary Warburton
One of the familiar faces at Nudgee Golf Club, Gary brings over 25 years of teaching and playing experience and is an Accredited Australian PGA, Advanced Coach.
Gary delivers a professional coaching experience with an easy-going attitude and calming influence.
He has been Nudgee’s Head Teaching Professional for the last 10 years and has worked with juniors, club members and the general public with all levels of abilities. His key to success is his philosophy of keeping it as simple as possible and really listening to his customers.
He understands that all players do not learn in the same way and tailors the learning experience, as necessary. He has a natural ability to bring out the best in his students through maximizing improvements with simple advice. He offers all manner of coaching including one-on-one private lessons, on course play, group clinics and junior programs.
Gary started playing golf at 12 and realised his dream of playing professionally at the 14 years of age.
He was a standout Junior Golfer, won many junior tournaments and was the Nudgee Club Champion at age 16 & 17. He leads the My Golf Junior Program and has a particular interest in working with the juniors mentoring the professionals of tomorrow.
